The Company invested 1.3 billion Baht in establishing the CPF Food Research and Development Center, on an area of 10 rai (1.6 hectares) in Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The center serves as a driving force for food research for all age groups and healthy products. The center also drives the food industry towards the food products development that responds to the changing global food industry. Moreover, a pilot plant was also set up to experiment with production employing cutting-edge technology to increase the chances to more precisely and promptly respond to the market. The CPF Food Research and Development Center employs more than 250 experts in different fields from food science, engineering, culinary arts, and packaging design and development. These experts work together to create food products that have good taste and proper nutritional values with safe and environmentally-friendly production and packaging design. They also team up to elevate the prototype processes for maximum efficiency throughout our value chain.
Additionally, the Center’s building also has a unique energy-saving design with a solar rooftop and solar hot water to reduce energy consumption by up to 70%, helping to reduce negative impacts on the environment. The Center is ready in every dimension including business, society, and environment to accommodate the future of food science and to be a center for knowledge and customer service (One Stop Services). Furthermore, it is expected to deliver the best health benefits and business outcomes to customers, partners, and consumers internationally.
