JerHigh hosted Thailand’s largest tribal cart racing

Jerhigh, leading premium pet food brand under CP Foods, hosted the 2nd Hmong Wooden Cart Formula Racing 2018 to promote traditional competitions of Hmong hill tribes in the north of Thailand as well as lift up their living standard.

Mr. Sukhawat Dansermsuk, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - Food Business and Co-President at CP Foods, said the competition is not only to conserve value of tribal tradition but also to allow to develop facilities in the village which they need.

The 2nd edition of Hmong Wooden Cart Formula Racing 2018 is the largest traditional wooden cart racing in Thailand with 32 racers from 13 Hmong villages, competing in difficult downhill track at Mae Rim, Chiang Mai province during December 15-16, 2018, and offered 270,000 Baht prize pool.

Hmong Wooden Cart competition, commonly known as Hmong Formula, is a traditional game of Hmong tribe. Beginning as a small tribal race, it has become an annual competition, which attract many tourists to Mae Rim district every year.
