CPF supports CP’s food to San Jai Thai Su Jai Tai Project

General Surayuth Julanonda, Privy Councilor as chairman of the San Jai Thai Su Jai Tai Project has remarked an increasing number of youths participating in the latest youth exchange program.

There are 240 youths from five deep-South provinces - Satun, Songkhla, Narathiwat, Pattani, and Yala - attending the 22nd batch of the project which started yesterday.

Gen Pradit explained that the project has been organised in a hope to enhance mutual understanding between Thai Muslims in the central region and those in the South. Under the current program, youths from the five southernmost provinces are living with Muslim host families in Bangkok and nearby provinces until 7 November 2014.

During their stay, they can learn ways of life that are different from theirs in the South where most of the population is Muslims. Moreover, they will be given knowledge on how to avoid drug dependence, live with others with different cultural backgrounds and solve problems in a non-violent way.
