Ms.Aida D. Macalinao,M unicipality Mayor of Samal, Dr. Jeolfa G. Reyes, Head of Education Department of Samal District, Mrs. Teresita R. Ordiales, Head of Education Department of Pilar District and Mr.Udomsak Aksornphakdee, President for Agro-industrial business (aquaculture), CPF Philippines, jointly presided over the opening ceremony of fish culture for student lunch project in three schools supported by CPF Philippines. This program aims to help schools achieving School Based Feeding Program (SBFD) promoted by Philippines’ Department of Education in order to cope malnutrition problem among Filipino children. CPF Philippines has provided financial aids and knowledge the schools to raise fish for using to prepare school luncheon. The fish culture will help improving 140 nutritional students in 3 schools namely Asuncion Consunji Elementary School, Gugo Elementary School and Nagwaling Elementary School.
