CP Foods' Kitchen Joy range of ready-to-eat meals has reached an important environmental milestone, with nine of its products receiving the Carbon Footprint Label from the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO). This recognition highlights CP Foods' dedication to environmental stewardship and strengthens its position in the Scandinavian market, where the demand for environmentally friendly products is on the rise.
The awarded lineup features a variety of rice and noodle dishes crafted to cater to the Scandinavian palate, ensuring convenience without compromising on sustainability. The selections include Jasmine Rice with Spicy Chicken Curry, Penang Chicken Curry, Teriyaki Chilli Chicken, Spicy Vegetable Curry, Spicy Sauce Chicken Noodles, Tikka Masala Chicken Rice, Green Curry Chicken Noodles, Tom Yum Thick Soup Chicken Noodles, and Southern Style Spicy Chicken Rice.
The certification process, adhering to rigorous international standards, assesses the environmental impacts at three critical stages: the sourcing of raw materials, production at CP Foods’ Nongjok ready-to-eat food facility, and distribution within key Scandinavian markets such as Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. This not only meets Europe’s stringent environmental regulations but also boosts the brand's competitive edge in the region.
Through the implementation of carbon footprint labeling, CP Foods enhances its understanding of environmental impacts throughout its product lifecycle. This initiative is part of the company's broader strategy to reduce carbon emissions and reinforce its reputation as a leader in sustainable food solutions globally.
