CP Foods' "Boiled Egg" Garners Dual Honors at 2023 Asian Marketing Excellence Awards

In a remarkable achievement, CP Foods' flagship product, "Boiled Egg," has clinched two prestigious accolades at the Marketing Excellence Awards 2023. The product, a part of the Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CP Foods) portfolio, earned the Gold Award for Excellence in Integrated Marketing and the Bronze Award for Excellence in Brand Strategy. These awards celebrate the most innovative and effective marketing campaigns across Asia.

 

Anarkawee Chooratn, Head of Marketing at CP Foods, expressed immense satisfaction with the double win, attributing it to the successful 'Start your day with CP boiled eggs' campaign. The campaign resonated significantly with modern consumers, especially the younger generation adapting to post-pandemic life. This surge in consumer engagement led to a substantial 30% increase in sales, turning CP Boiled Eggs into a breakfast habit for many.

 

The campaign's success hinged on a multifaceted marketing approach, effectively targeting consumer groups for maximum impact. The highlight was a musical marketing strategy featuring the catchy jingle performed by the talented singer and actor, Billkin- Putthipong Assaratanakul. This approach not only popularized the product but also encouraged healthy eating habits among the youth.

 

Additionally, CP Foods has diversified its processed egg product range to include soft-boiled eggs, onsen eggs, and herbal boiled eggs, catering to diverse consumer preferences. These products are conveniently available at 7-Eleven stores and major department stores.

 

The Marketing Excellence Awards, organized by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Asia's leading online magazine for advertising and marketing, draw entries from across Asia, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand. The awards recognize exceptional achievements in marketing, creative advertising, public relations, market research, and marketing communications.
