The Royal Forest Department honored Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CP Foods) for its contributions to forest restoration through the “Rak-Nives Pasak Watershed, Khao Phraya Doen Thong Project, covering 12,000 rai in Lopburi Province. The award was presented during the department’s 128th anniversary celebration, recognizing CP Foods as a key partner in preserving forest resources and supporting local communities.
Sutee Smudraprabhud, CSR & Biodiversity Stewardship Director at CP Foods, accepted the award on behalf of the company. Since 2016, CP Foods has collaborated with the Royal Forest Department and local communities to restore over 7,000 rai of forest, with a goal of reaching 12,000 rai. The project promotes biodiversity by increasing wildlife food sources and maintaining water resources, contributing to both environmental and social development.
CP Foods remains committed to sustainable practices, engaging local communities in food security initiatives and seed bank projects. The company also organizes volunteer activities for employees, including tree planting and environmental conservation efforts.
