C.P. Vietnam Corporation Company Limited joined hands with Foodbank Vietnam and the Autumn Volunteer Group in Hanoi to host the social welfare activity for underprivileged senior citizens at the Elderly Hospital of Phuong Ma, Dong Da district, Hanoi. The activity was attended by Ms.Le Nhat Thuy, President of CP Vietnam Donation Fund, Mr. Chinoros Benjachavakul; Senior Vice President at CP Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khang, President of the Vietnam Youth Federation of CP Vietnam (VYF) along with CP Vietnam employee volunteers and Pink Volunteers to deliver 3,000 sets of rice congee with 1,000 gift bags containing cake, fresh eggs and sausages to poor patients and their families so that they could enjoy a delicious and nutritious meal during Tet Celebration holiday. This program also aimed to provide the vulnerable elderly with happiness and empowerment.
CP Vietnam has partnered with FoodBank, a non-profit organization in Vietnam, to carry out the social activities aimed at combating hunger and food waste. This is part of the company’s effort to create food security to the Vietnamese people in accordance with “3 Benefits”, the CP group philosophy that all employees have adopted to ensure real benefit to the countries where we operate and the people before the benefit of the company and employees.
