Following the major earthquake on March 28, 2025, which was strongly felt across several regions in Thailand—especially in Chatuchak District, Bangkok, where a building collapsed—Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CP Foods), a subsidiary of the Charoen Pokphand Group, has swiftly mobilized relief efforts to support those affected by the disaster.
In line with its long-standing commitment to stand by Thai society in times of crisis, CP Foods has provided urgent and ongoing support, including the donation of tents for search and rescue missions and the delivery of CP-branded ready-to-eat meals and drinking water through the Royal Thai Army. The supplies were received by Lieutenant General Amrit Boonsuya, Commander of the 1st Army Region, to aid rescue teams and local residents. The relief efforts are being coordinated closely with the 1st Field Artillery Regiment, King's Guard.
Mr. Prasit Boondoungprasert, Chief Executive Officer of CP Foods, has also mobilized the company’s teams to support frontline personnel. The company has donated “Foods from the Heart” consisting of food products and ingredients such as fresh eggs, chicken, suasages and pork to kitchens operated by foundations including the Petchkasem Foundation and the Tham Dee Foundation. These meals are being prepared for soldiers, engineers, field medics, disaster relief personnel, rescue volunteers, and media teams working around the clock at the Chatuchak emergency command center.
