Located 205 kilometers from Kanchanaburi city, Ban Muang Song Tho School in Sala sub-district, Thong Pha Phum district, faces unique challenges. The school, which provides extended educational opportunities, sits high in the mountains bordering the Thung Yai Naresuan Wildlife Sanctuary. Its remote location, accessible only via winding mountain roads, makes food supply a critical concern.

The establishment of an on-site food source has become essential for both teachers and students. Previously, the school had to purchase enough supplies to last five days at a time, and transportation of ingredients, especially eggs, often resulted in breakage and waste due to the difficult journey.
