Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CP Foods) provides food and supplies to flood victims in numerous provinces, including Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, as part of the "CPF Food from the Heart Against Flood" program. So far, the company has distributed safe food and drinking water to residents affected by flooding in 23 provinces across Thailand.
Mr. Boonserm Charoenwat, Senior Vice President for feed business of CPF said as being a member of society, CP Foods feed mill in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya provinces joined forces to provide assistance to flood-affected victims. The company’s volunteers distributed foods, supplies, survival bag as well as prepare freshly cooked meals to residents in flood areas. CP Foods feed mill in Tha Ruea district in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province has established a well-prepared flood action plan and initiated a "Fast Mobilized Team" to provide immediate aid to residents.
Mr. Chira Kongkeaw, CP Foods management, said that the fast mobilized team were donating 2,400 bottles to help police officer in the Tha Rueu district and collaborated with Boonyachinda Foudation to provide relief efforts for more than 700 flood-affected households. CP Foods volunteers delivered drinking waters to 196 households in Tha Luang district.
In addition, the company delivered survival bags including rice, fresh eggs, and food supplies to its more than 70 employees in order to alleviate the difficulties from floods.
CP Foods launches the "CPF Food from the Heart Against Flood" project t and constantly mobilizes its volunteers to help people in several flood-affected provinces around the country including Chonburi, Rayong, Prachinburi, Nakhonnayok, Ubonratchthani, Nakhon Ratchsima, Chiang Mai, Sukhothai and others.
