Minister of Social Development and Human Security, Chuti Krairiksh together with Pimonrat Reephattanavvijitkul, Chief People Officer at Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited or CP Foods, announced their collaboration on children and youth potential development leading to good citizenship in 21th century.
Minister Chuti stated that the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, being the organization strive for quality human and social development, aims this cooperation to be the window of opportunities for Thai children and youngster group to help ensure all children learn and fulfill their potential.
Pimonrat said that CP Foods place important into the human resource development, particulary to children and young people who are the future of the nation. The company will assist the ministry in educating kids and young people about digital literacy. As part of the partnership, the workshops will be arranged for teachers and students to improve their digital literacy skills including to design the specific curriculum. Additionally, it makes the online learning platform which accessible through the Ministry’s e-library. The implementation will commence on the second Saturday of January marking the National Children’s Day.
“The co-project aims at ensuring the children’s right to equal opportunities and responsible talents of the country in the 21th century aligned with “3 Benefits” principle of Charoen Pokphand Group focusing the business must benefits to the country, communities and the company as well as the UN’s sustainable development goals,” Pimonrat said.
Furthermore, this project is extension of CP Group’s project on developing vulnerable kids in the southernmost provinces to ensure the children’s right to equal opportunities and their better quality of life. This was an endeavor to promote children’s well-being, careers, and life skills to become capable citizens of the country.
