The Royal Thai Army and CP Foods jointly handed over 10 of the 47 completed houses to the Khlong Toei community in an effort to improve the quality of life and create good hygiene for vulnerable groups.
The Thai Royal Army, CP Group and CP Foods also donated consumer goods and necessities as well as herbal medicine Andrographis paniculata from the CP group at the sports ground, Lot 4-5-6 communities, Khlong Toei district, Bangkok.
The hand-over ceremony was attended by Lt.Gen.Suksan Nongbualang, the 1st Army Area Commander, and CP Group and CP Foods chairman, Soopakij Chearavanont.
Lt.Gen.Suksan said that this is the third batch of the event. He added that the first batch was delivered in April and December 2021 respectively, with support from CP Foods. This project is a collaboration between public and private sectors to create opportunities for people to have access to suitable and standard accommodations, helping to develop a stable and sustainable society
CP and CPF Group donated the houses to the vulnerable group as a royal charity. It also serves the public interest in various areas to alleviate suffering and solve problems for Thai people.
The Army and CP Foods also donated blankets, rice, instant noodles, canned fish, alcohol gel, CP herbal medicine Andrographis paniculata to the people of the Khlong Toei community, hospital, foundation , and volunteers according to the policy of "Dhanin Chearavanont" Senior Chairman CP Group.
CP Foods and the Royal Thai Army target to build s total of 87 houses with a total value of 13,998,000 baht to develop the community to have good hygiene, safety and orderliness for the quality of life for vulnerable people./
