The Privy Councilor and the Charoen Pokphand Foundation donate a school bus to rural schools Prachuap Khiri Khan Province PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN PROVINCE – The Privy Councilor, in collaboration with the Charoen Pokphand Foundation, has made a generous donation of a school bus to rural schools in the Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, aiming to bolster educational access for children in remote areas. Air Chief Marshal Chalit Pukbhasuk, Privy Councilor, led the handover ceremony of the student shuttle, a project which supported by Adirek Sripratak, Chairman of Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CP Foods).

                  To ensure the safety of students, the Charoen Pokphand Foundation has meticulously modified a medium-sized 6-wheel truck in accordance with the stringent vehicle safety standards required for student transportation services. Prominent representatives from the CP Group, including Virachai Ratanabanchuen, CP Group’s Vice Chairman – Agro-Industry and Foods Business Group, and Dr. Sittiporn Praneenij, Senior Advisor of the Charoen Pokphand Group, bestowed the new bus upon Ban Huai Khrai School, situated in the Bueng Nakhon Subdistrict, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. This generous gesture was warmly embraced by the school's students, faculty, and administrative staff. The bus will serve as an invaluable asset to streamline travel for students from remote regions, thereby facilitating their involvement in an array of school activities. Ban Huai Khrai School, a significant recipient of this initiative, forms part of an educational fund project endorsed by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Serving 325 students, mostly from ethnic groups in remote territories, the school offers primary and lower secondary education. The geography and rough gravel roads leading to the school previously created transportation difficulties for students, compelling some to board at the school throughout the week. This new, medium-sized passenger vehicle is anticipated to substantially ease these commute hardships. The Charoen Pokphand Foundation, with a steadfast commitment to enhancing the quality of life for children and nurturing youth empowerment, is determined to continue its societal contributions. By providing a new bus for Ban Huai Khrai School, the Foundation reaffirms its commitment to improving students' lives and preparing for future expansion at the upper secondary school level.
