Mr. Prasit Boondoungprasert, chief executive of Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF), said all CP Freshmart shops will take on a role as “Fresh Egg Station”, a distribution center that sell CPF’s products at an affordable price to relieve consumer concerns amid COVID-19 outbreak.
A trays of 30 No. 4 eggs , No.3 eggs and No.1 Eggs are now selling at a price of 95 baht, 98 baht and 111 baht respectively. CP Freshmart also distributes small packs as well as premium quality eggs, including CP omega super plus eggs and cage free eggs.
Besides CP Freshmart, CPF’s eggs are available at other stores such as 7-Eleven and Makro.
An egg from CPF farms is being sold at 2.80 baht in line with Department of Internal Trade of Thailand’ target prices.
CP Freshmart ensures sufficient food supply during the outbreak. It also offers delivery service without minimum payment to ease consumer concern on going outside.
