CP Foods has been granted the Good Manufacturing Practices Plus (GMP+) B1,B2 and B3 certifications, making it the first company in Thailand being certified GMP+ throughout the feed value chain. This achievement reflects the company’s leadership in feed quality and safety.
Mr. Rewat Hathaisattayapong, Executive Vice President at CP Foods, revealed that feed business plays an important role as an upstream of food industry. In order to produce quality foods,the company puts the utmost importance on safe animal feed products that can be traceable and in compliance with the standards and requirements of the government and partners.
As a result, CP Foods started establishing the ISO9001 quality standard system since 2000 and continuously upgrading the animal feed standard system. In 2019, Pak Thongchai animal feed factory has adopted the internationally recognized food safety standard system, GMP + (GMP Plus).
This unique system takes into account animal and environmental issues to reduce human health risks in line with an international requirements.
“Pak Thongchai feed mill is Thailand first certified GMP + B1 while Tha Reua feed mill Certified GMP + B2 for production and GMP + B3 for Storage and transhipment of feed. Subsequently, CP Foods is the first and only company in Thailand that has been certified for GMP + throughout the Feed Value Chain, "said Mr. Rewat.
Mr. Steve Hendrik Ritzema, Managing Director of Control Union (Thailand) Co., Ltd., expressed his congratulations on CP Foods success.
