Charoen Pokphand Foods PLC (CPF) has dispatched its food truck to support low-income people in five communities around Wat Ruak Bang Bamru, Bangphlat district, Bangkok, under a COVID-19 relief project called “Safe Food from the Heart to Community”.
The food truck project aims at delivering safe and delicious ready-to-eat meals to low-income people in six districts of Bangkok, including Bangkok Noi, Bangphlat, Huai Kwang, Bangkhunthian, Bang Bon, and Nong Khaem.
Mr. Wuthichai Sithipreedanant, senior vice president for corporate social responsibility and sustainable development of Charoen Pokphand Foods PLC (CPF) and the representative of Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives jointly presided over the event, which is the 14th edition of the project.
The company’s volunteers also participated in the event to help people comply with the social distancing and health measures.
