Dr. Carlos A. da Silva, Senior Agribusiness Economist from Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) - Rome and the participants from the "Planning and Implementing Contract Farming Operations" workshop that was co-organized by the FAO and Mekong Institute. The 25 participants from 12 countries recently visited one of the Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF)'s contract farming farms in Khon Kaen. They were welcomed by Mr. Narong Jiamjaibanjong, the CPF's Senior Vice President, Dr.Atip Asvanund, Deputy Director and Head of Strategic Policy Development, True Coporation PCL., and Ms Ingon Neugnkeaw, the farmer and the owner of the farm.   "
