"Smart Meal" a new healthy product brand by CPF

Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL (CPF) launched "Smart Meal" as its new frozen product to serve health conscious consumers. 

Smart Meal brand is one of CPF's food innovation of frozen products that ensure food quality and food safety standards. Under the brand, four groups of healthy products will be marketed including smart meal (vegetarian menus), smart soup (soup for kid, eldery and patient), smart drink (healthy and beauty drink) and the smart sauces  (special ingredient for special treatment patients). However, smart meal menus will be firstly launhced. 

Mr.Sukhawat Dansermsuk, Chief Executive Officer - Food Business and Co-President of CPF, said those products have been developed to serve eldery trend in the next 10 years. The products will not serve only eldery people but also ensure food that suit with age and gender that will allow them have longer life.

"Number of vegetarian people are increasing to better not only for their health but also for good mental health. Smart meal will be a choice of vegetarians to have foods that ingredients are mainly come from nature," said Mr.Sukhawat. 

For example, the products use coconut sugar instead of sugar cane and flower of salt with full of nutrient and coconut oil in the cooking process.  The product's weight is 180-200 gram at the price of Bt59 per pack. 

Mr.Amnat Kunlayakunawut, vice president of CPF, added that distribution channels of the products include off-line and online marketing as well as TV commecial campaign, radio spot, and promotion at selling points. It will spend Bt15 million to create those marketing channels.
