(24 June 2017)--- Executives of Charoen Pokphand Foods Pcl. (CPF) together with the relatives of 5 victims to receive the bodies from Department of Forensic Medicine Chulalongkorn Hospital. The company provide support the transportation of five bodies to their hometown provinces including Chiang Mai, Trad, Ubonratchthani, Sakonnakorn and Chaiyaphum province respectively.
Mr.Parisothat Punnabhum, CPF's senior executive vice-president for human resources, said today CPF executives gathering at Department of Forensic Medicine Chulalongkorn Hospital to express sympathy to relatives of five victims died from the accident and support to transport 5 bodies to hometown and host the funeral rite. The company will support expenses and any assistance for the religious ceremonies.
CPF also supported aids to 5 families to transport dead bodies to their hometown in 5 provinces namely Chiang Mai, Trad, Ubonratchthani, Sakonnakorn, Chaiyapoom provinces accordingly. CPF also support to organize the funeral ceremony. The Company also persuades management and employees in these 5 provinces and nearby to join the funeral to mourn for them. The funeral prayer and cremation details are;
1. Mr. Charnchai Phanthunakhin, the funeral will be held at Thongthammachart Temple, Amphoe Laem Ngop, Trad province, from 24-28 June.
2. Ms. Rakchanok Saenthaweesook, the funeral will be held at Sabkaset Temple, Amphoe Numyuen, Ubonratchthani province, 25-27 June.
3. Mr. Pornsak Boonban, the funeral will be held at home in Ban Nong Dang Noi Village, Chaiyaphum province, 25-27 June.
4. Mr. Chatree Seethankorn, the funeral will be held at home in Sakonakorn province, 25-28 June.
5. Ms.Panthika Tasuwan, the funeral will be held at Gate Temple, Amphoe Muang, Chiang Mai province, 24-29 June.
CPF was in strict compliance with Health and Safety standard. To response this incident, the Company set up the Accident Fact Finding Committee to take additional steps of measure to prevent such an incident happening again. The committee will have the meeting for the SHE&EN committee next week to review SHE &En standards.
