Some 500 Thai curry formulas entered into 2nd round of the Kingdom’s biggest food competition “CP Sud Yod Champ Kaeng Thai” (Best Chef of Thai Curry) to help promote authentic Thai menus as well as retail food business.
Mr.Vitavat Tantivess, Executive Vice President of CPF, said the 3rd round will be selected only 100 winners and will be shortlisted into 15 formulas in the semi-final round. The final round will be held at Park Paragon exhibition area on May 14, 2016.
“CPF initiated this activity to allow Thai people realize more Thai value through those five special curries. It is one of the Kingdom’s culture which we need to be transferred to next generation,” said Mr.Vitavat.
The targeted five Thai curries including green chicken curry, yellow chicken curry, pork mussamun pork curry, pork panaeng and ruby fish fillet with red curry. The winner will get Royal Trophy from HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha together with a start-up capital of Bt1 million to create his/her own business.
