Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL (CPF) is taking a step toward food sustainability by emphasizing on healthy food innovation for consumer across the world and also adopting Thai’s CSR Club sustainability plan 2018.
Mr.Wuthichai Sithipreedanant, Senior Vice President – Social Responsibility and Sustainability Development of CPF, said the company recognizes that quality foods is the key to healthy life. Therefore it strives to develop healthy product with an innovation .The company also strives to deliver the finest quality products through world class supply chain management in accordance to animal welfare and responsible material sourcing approach.
“The Company has determined strategic directions for sustainability under the “3 pillars: “Food Security”, “Self-Sufficiency Society”, and “Balance of Nature”. In addition, it aims at delivering nutritious foods to consumer worldwide through “Healthier Choices products such as OmegaPlus Eggs, CP Chicken breast, and BKP Snow Mushroom drink.” He added
As a part of CSR Club which consisted of high profile SET-Listed companies, the company has adopted the club 2018’s plan in line with SD Goals., emphasizing in Human Rights, Responsible Supply Chain and Governance.
The club goal is to be a forum for knowledge sharing. The best practice from experienced companies company will be shared to the members of the club through seminar and workshop.
