Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL (CPF) sponsored the 14th Thailand Biology Olympiad hosted by of Faculty of Science of Chulalongkorn University. The competition aims at improving science and mathematics skills for the high school student with analytical and problem solving skills.
The competition which will be held between 12th – 16th April as part of Chulalongkorn University 100th Anniversary celebration to elevate the standard of education in Thailand to be on par with the developed countries.
Associate Professor Dr. Polkit Sangvanich, Dean of Faculty of Science said the Olympiad is the preparation stage for the upcoming 28th International Biology Olympiad in England.
The faculty also thanks CPF for its continuous supports including setting funding Omics sciences and Bioformatics center and providing equipment to the faculty.
Mrs. Phatanee Leksrisompong, Executive Vice President of CPF, said the company strives to develop food innovation in order to deliver the safe and high quality foods for consumers. Therefore, the company is investing on the research and building talents for food industry through the academic sponsorships.
