Associate Professor Dr. Nuttha Potapohn, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture of Chiang Mai University (CMU), received “Chiang Mai University’s Swine Farm Refurbishment” project, worth Bt7.3 million, from Mr. Somkuan Choowatanapakorn , Chief Operating Officer- Pig Business of Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CPF), in order to upgrade a practice center for students of Agriculture Faculty. The swine farm refurbishment project was included renovation of breeding house, pig house and farm office renovation together with provide a new-built pig farm where to be used for the faculty’s research and academic purpose. Moreover, K.S.P. Equipment Company Limited, CPF’s subsidiary, provided 32 pig’s birth cradles worth Bt950,400 to the faculty. CPF aims this support will modernize the swine farm equipped advanced technology for CMU’s agriculture students to practice in the international standard swine farms at Mae Hia Campus of Chiang Mai University
